Your first knot on a scoubidou
You've just slipped your second thread under the string looped in a simple
knot around a pencil (see the first page in these instructions)
Now you need to do your first proper knot on a scoubidou.
You're going to do a striaght knot - where the strands simply fold to their opposite side...
There are various ways of doing this.
either
1. Pick a thread and move one over the next until you have to loop the
last one through the loop made by the first.
2. Fold the blues up and down. Then pass a red over and through, then
the other end of the red over and through. See graphic below.
Then once they're all as they should be start pulling them so the knot is created and gets tightly fixed.
Gets tighter: Very blurry pic will be replaced tomorrow.
Knot complete:
No loose
loopy bits.
